Gift Ideas for that Certain Someone

Happy holidays everyone! As many of you know (or should know), it is almost Christmas. Now, some of you have been the smart shoppers and bought your gifts early and some of you haven't been so smart and are just starting to buy now. Well, I have some gift ideas for you if you're in need of getting that certain someone in your family a very good present.

For the gamer in your family, you may want to get them the latest first-person shooter game, Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2, for the Xbox 360. I have had the pleasure of playing this game and I think this game is perfect for any gamer who likes to kill people. The storyline is based on a few select characters points of views and the graphics are awesome. I also played on Xbox Live which is also as fun as playing the campaign of the game. The Xbox Live gameplay has several different maps you play on and there are many types of matches you can play from the usual team deathmatch and free-for-all or you can get into more complex games like ground war and 3rd person cage match. There is also a match type called mosh pit if you don't know what type you want to play. It cycles through different types of matches at random. This is a game I love and now own.

For the more technological person, you might want to get them a a BlackBerry Bold 9700 from AT&T. According to http://reviews.cnet.com, it has a sleeker design than its predecessor and a responsive optical trackpad. It also has an extra-sharp display and a digital camera. The bad things about it though is that you can download apps but only to the phone's main memory. Also, the web browser lags behind the competition in terms of usability and features. The CNET editors' gave it an average of 4 stars out of 5 but the users give it a 3.5 of 5. Though, if you think your technological person wouldn't be the one who would want a BlackBerry, get them an Apple iPhone 3GS also from AT&T. The one reviewed on the site above is 32GB but if you don't have the cash in order to buy one with this much memory, you're in luck because they also come in smaller memory sizes like 16GB and 8GB. The iPhone comes with many features like access to many apps from the Apple App Store and a web browser and a YouTube app. The iPhone 3GS is much faster than the iPhone 3G but thats not only what makes it different. The iPhone 3GS has 3 new features not on the iPhone 3G like a built-in video camera, voice control, and a compass. The average user rating for the Apple iPhone 3GS according to http://reviews.cnet.com is 3.5 stars out of 5 but the editors' give it a 4 out of 5.

Now, I know there are some people in your family that like to be stylish and like to keep up with the latest fashions. For them, you can get them a gift card to their favorite store or just a regular Visa gift card. With a Visa gift card, they can buy clothes and accessories from any store they choose or whatever else they decide to buy. Gift cards never go wrong.
